An event you shouldn’t miss!!

On the 1st of December, our ESAD group is running a Blog Hop. Come join in all the fun and see what 25 of our talented demonstrators have come up with.

What is ESAD?

ESAD stands for “Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators” and it is an on-line group just for Australian and New Zealand Stampin Up demonstrators.

We so love what we do and not only do we love to share it with our customers, friends, and wonderful blog visitors, but we share our love for what we do with each other as demonstrators. We run swaps, challenges, tutorials, product know-how, and cyberstamps, and we are always there to help and support each other when it is needed.

So if you are a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand, then please fee free to click here to join our wonderful group.

Some of the Items I make for the Markets

On Bribie Island, there is a community market every week. I try to make these each weekend, as I like to do them and it helps me get out in my local area and promote that I do Stampin’ Up! Here below are just a few of the items that I have on my stall for sale.

Christmas Notebook

Notebook

These have been selling very well. There is a magnet attached to the back if people want to attach them to the fridge and the notepads are replaceable. Nice little gift for Secret Santas and Kris Kringle activities at Christmas.

My Post it – Note and pen sets always do very well. Some have been purchased for teachers gifts and also to have at home just in case there is a last minute gift. These are not my idea, I have cased these from Dawns Stamping Studio. I have just decorated as I see fit. Here are some examples:

Post-It and Pen Set

This one was made with a retired Hostess stamp set called “Cute by the Inch”. A set I dont have the heart to get rid of. Another example of the Post-It and Pen Sets as below.

Post-It Note and Pen Set

These sell so well and I get really flat out at times keeping up with them.

I have loads more pictures to show you all, but this is a quick post today. So keep checking back to see what’s new. Until then

May the Stamps be with you

My Personal Christmas Challenge

Every year near Christmas time, I challenge myself to make Christmas cards using stamps that are not really “Christmasy”. I love to do this to myself to show how versatile you can make a stamp set that would otherwise just sit on the shelf. These are last years challenges.

First up, A very vintage Christmas. I love the Stampin’ Around wheels, they are easy to use and make a project in minutes. This particular wheel is the Jumbo Very Vintage Wheel and the stamp set Vintage Vogue, I love both these products and use them quite a bit .

A Very Vintage Christmas Card

Another of last year’s “Personal Challenge” cards was this one, using Fifth Avenue Floral. Very much an “outline” type stamp set, when I first saw the set in my hands, all I could think of was how nice these flowers would look coloured in as Poinsettias and would be perfect for Christmas cards. So here is my Fifth Avenue Floral christmas card.

Now onto this year’s “Personal Challenge”. When the new Stampin’ Up! Idea Book and Catalogue came out. One of the first sets I had to buy was the “Faith in Nature” stamp set. To receive this set yourself, you must hold a workshop or class with sales of over $300. Being a Demonstrator, gave me the opportunity to be able to order this set a month before the actual catalogue was available to customers and it was on my “had to have” list not the wish list. I have used this stamp set quite a bit since it has been available, but yesterday, I decided to put a Christmas twist to it. So here it is my “Faith in Nature”  Pearry Christmas Card.

Pearry Christmas

I do love to water colour and recently purchased the Regals crayons from Stampin’ Up! after seeing a workshop wow at Brisbane Regional Training in early November this year.  After using the Regals crayons I now have an extension to my wish list…….. more crayons. Hopefully Santa will bring me more for Christmas. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy my very first  of many “crafty” posts, and “may the stamps be with you”.

First Post

Hi Friends, my first ever blog post. I am sure that as I get more used to this new medium, this blog will get better. Please bear with me while I find my way around here. The page may or may not stay the same as it is right now. Over the next few weeks/months you will see lots of changes as I get used to it.

My goal with this blog is to showcase my crafty projects, so keep checking back to see what I have added

Thank you for looking in on me

May the stamps be with you
