ESAD Holiday Catalogue Blog Hop

Hi and welcome to another Blog hop from ESAD. What an exciting time of the year for us as demonstrators with not one but the release of 2 catalogues on September 1. I am sure you are enjoying the blog hop round this time just as much as I am. Thank you for visiting, you may be starting here or have come from Chloe’s lovely blog. Either way take the time to have a cuppa and leave some comments, we love hearing from you.

What is ESAD?

ESAD stands for “Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators” and it is an on-line group just for Australian and New Zealand Stampin” Up! demonstrators. We so love what we do and not only do we love to share it with our customers, friends, and wonderful blog visitors, but we share our love for what we do with each other as demonstrators. We run swaps, challenges, tutorials, product know-how, and cyberstamps, and we are always there to help and support each other when it is needed. So if you are a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand, then please feel free to click here to join our wonderful group.

I know that its all about the holidays and Christmas, but I found the whole Orchard Harvest Suite offered on pages 28, 29 and 30 of our holiday catalogue very hard to pass by so I decided to use these in my blog entry for ESAD today. First up, how fantastic to walk into the local Target a couple of weeks ago and I found these lovely, great quality, face towels that just happened to match Lucky Limeade, More Mustard and Island Indigo. Here is what I came up with and yes I did case the idea from the catalogue but hey they make wonderful gifts and look lovely.

Face Towels

Face Towels

I still cant believe how lucky I was to be able to match the cardstock so closely. You cant give gifts without cards so I made coordinating cards and made sure to stamp the envelopes.

Matching Cards

I have had a lot of fun with these as you can just use the framelets directly onto the the DSP or stamp images with the matching Perfectly Preserved stamp set. The use of the Bakers Twine and Linen thread start to give these cards a really ‘country’ feel and I am sure they are going to make wonderful gifts. I also did my launch last week, it turned out fairly well so to showcase off some of the rest of this suite, I decided to do up a couple of jars of preserves bought from the local supermarket. How lovely will these look with a packet of crackers in a basket for more gifts. They just looked so cute, I couldnt leave them out of my post.

Fabric Covered Jars

Last but not least, I have a money tin inside that I am putting spare change in for spending money at Convention next year. I found the tin I bought from the $2 shop a bit boring and the same as all the rest on the shelves and I really wanted to showcase the wonderful DSP off a bit more at my launch so I covered my tin and made a matching little notecard to go with it.

Altered Tin and Matching Note card

It looks so much better amongst my stash than that boring $20 note that was on the side of it.

I just want to say thank you again for dropping by to have a look at my projects for the Holiday Catalogue Blog Hop from ESAD. Its now Sharlene’s turn to show you what she has created for our blog hop. If you get stuck at any time, I have a full blog roll below to help you on your way. Please leave some comments we love to know we have all had visits to our blogs and we hope we can provide some more inspiration for your crafting.

Until next time
