Hi there, thank you for stopping by again. I really appreciate the time that you take to come have a look at things I have been doing crafty. In my previous post, I mentioned that its just been crazy around here. I did do my cards to send out to the Birthday Girls this month. I had them made in plenty of time too, however, I only posted them on Monday of this week so there will be a couple late this month. I lost these cards then found them and then couldnt understand why I was short one so I made another to make up the numbers.
Here is the first style that I was sure I had made enough of:
After stamping the image from the reason the smile set all over the Naturals Ivory cardstock, I then masked the daisies and stamped the large image from the Creative elements set and spritzed. I then removed the masked and proceeded to colour with water colour crayons and an aqua pen. After all the blending was done, I then painted over the flowers again with Shimmer Paint (Champagne). There is Always Artichoke denim ribbon over some So Saffron ribbon too.
I then put them away quite pleased with myself that they were done. I lost them under the rubble on my desk and then found that I was one short when getting them into their envelopes, I could have sworn I had made enough.
I will be honest I didnt want to make another one, but I didnt want one to miss out due to me and my absent mind. So here is Version 2:
Its the same only ‘different’. It was the first time I had used my Adorning Accents Edgelets and Embossing Folders.
I love these cards that I made for the girls whose birthdays are in July. I hope you enjoy them as much as I loved making them. Just a little side note, while packing up some bits to go out to the local “crafty shed” morning, I found the cards, it seems I took 2 of them to show the ladies and hadnt put them back after I came home. hmmm I now have 2 spares.
“May the Stamps be with you”
