ESAD Summer Mini Catalogue Blog Hop

Hi and I would like to welcome you to my post in the ESAD Summer Mini Catalogue Blog Hop. A Blog Hop is all about fellow Demo’s and myself, showcasing ideas and projects to do with the fabulous items available to purchase in the new Summer Mini Catalogue, you are able to purchase and view the Catalogue from today, the 1st of December. You may have started here or have hopped on over from Jenny Hayward, either way, you are going to love what you see from the talented ladies linked in this Hop. If you get lost, just click on any of the links below my post and you will be directed to one of the participants.

What is ESAD?

ESAD stands for “Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators” and it is an on-line group just for Australian and New Zealand Stampin Up demonstrators.

We so love what we do and not only do we love to share it with our customers, friends, and wonderful blog visitors, but we share our love for what we do with each other as demonstrators. We run swaps, challenges, tutorials, product know-how, and cyberstamps, and we are always there to help and support each other when it is needed.

So if you are a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand, then please fee free to click here to join our wonderful group.

Now onto my First Project.

This is featuring the “Give a Gift” stamp set, featured on page 8 of the new Summer Mini Catalogue. This is a set of 7 stamps available in either wood-mount or clear-mount options. I have created an “All Occasion Gift Tag Box”, featuring 6 of the 7 stamps in the set. I cased the idea from The Southern Stamper, the tutorial is a free download.

This is the finished project with holes punched in the top of the tags to attach some twine, which I have placed in the box. I love these tags as they match all our punches.

All Occasion Gift Tag Box

This is the first time, I have done one of these collagey type pictures. You can get the general idea of what I have done. I made use of our Stampin’ Write markers and also some water colouring.

The Tags that are in the Gift Box

As we don’t really celebrate Halloween traditionally in Australia, I decided not to put that tag into the box. However, I didnt want to leave it out and I think when the kids come to my door “Trick or Treating” next October, I will have some of these cuteys ready for them.

I am sure the kids will love them.

Now my second Project

Being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, I get to preview and pre-order products from all our catalogues, usually a month before they are available to our customers. This gives us the time to play and create to showcase our lines. When I saw the stamp set “Open Sea”, I just had to have it! Before it even arrived, this technique and idea were in my head. I couldn’t wait to start. The set is again available in the clear-mount or wood-mount options and contains 5 gorgeous stamps, you can see it on page 18, in the new Summer Mini Catalogue.

This is a masked collage technique card (hoping this is the correct term for what I have done). I haven’t used this technique for a very long time and I really enjoyed creating this card.

Open Sea - Masked Collage Card

I decided, that I needed to make a couple of gift lines to go with the card to make a lovely set to use as a gift for any occasion for that special person. Here is the Box#2 die available from our main catalogue. I have put a mini Kit Kat in there but you could place any small item in this box.

Last but not least is a Post-It Note and Pen holder.

And finally the gift set, all together.

Thank you for taking the time to look around and feel free to leave your comments and feedback. I love to hear what others say about my craft. I feel sometimes maybe my family are being nice to me when they say they like it. That is it from me and a big Thank you for visiting my Blog. I look forward to seeing you again soon.
